About Us
Mission Statement
| The Humane League of Lake Lanier
is an organization made up of volunteers and foster homes
with a mission to help homeless pets. The LLHL is a nonprofit,
public-benefit corporation dedicated to improving the
quality of life for pets. Further, we are dedicated to
improving the lives of people through the human bond with
their pets. We are committed to the rescue and rehabilitation
of pets and to their successful placement into new, forever
loving homes. |

Our fundamental beliefs underscore the importance of spaying
and neutering as the humane solution to ending pet overpopulation.
Networking with other animal rescues and animal controls is paramount
to the strength with which we may address society's homeless
pets issues. We also strive to provide public education in
regards to the plight of animals in our communities and for
raising the standard of humane treatment.
